Contract NATO position
Our client is NATO, an intergovernmental defence and security alliance formed by 32 member nations, dedicated to guaranteeing the freedom and security of its members through political and militar cooperation. This position is a NATO contract role within a highly secure, international, and multicultural institutional environment.
The position is a very specialised technical one with high levels of responsibility and impact, such as support the protection and accreditation of critical CIS systems, ensure alignment with NATO security directives, develop and implement remediation plans, conduct security audits, and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders. The responsibilities will also include contribute to risk management documentation, security awareness activities, and the improvement of security processes across NIMSC-managed CIS.
Profile requirements:
• The ideal candidate will hold (or be eligible for) COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance, though candidates with a currently active NATO SECRET clearance may be considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CIS Security role (or, alternatively, at least 6 years of progressive experience in relevant functions within the NCI Agency scope of interest)
• Strong knowledge of computer and communication security principles, networking, operating system vulnerabilities, and critical security controls for cyber defence
• CISSP or CISA certification
• Ability to analyse complex scenarios and deliver innovative solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
